Career Conversation with Hayfork High School Alumni, Carie Palmer: Program Director/Instructor, Medical Assisting & Scribe, Shasta College – 05/12/2020

Carie graduated from Hayfork High School. Go Class of ’94! After graduating she started classes at Shasta College while working for Trinity County Life Support and volunteering for the Hayfork Valley Fire Department. After graduating from Shasta College Carie went on to earn her  Bachelorette in Liberal Studies from Simpson University and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from National University. Like Hayfork Summit, her educational journey was full of twists and turns, but Carie has found true passion as an Instructor/Program Director for Shasta College. In her personal time, you can usually find Carie enjoying the outdoors with her family. She thinks we are so lucky to live in an area surrounded by lakes, mountains, and rivers.  Carie loves to geek out on books, and is also a sucker for thrift store furniture as she loves to up-cycle.
